This is being established at the gardens following a significant increase in unwanted monkeys around the world.

We work in conjunction with the International Primate Protection League who have worked tirelessly as the protectors of wild and captive primates for over 35 years. They recognise monkeys and apes as intelligent, sensitive individuals whose survival and welfare depend upon human action- THEY CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.

At Begelly Countryside Gardens we intend to carry on with this essential work, with help and co-operation from overseas rescue organisations that we are in daily contact with.

All entrance fees go towards the daily maintenance and feeding of the monkeys and for future rescue.
